In which the Pirate faces the Black Hare (thought to be the greatest gambler in the Universe), as well as his future nemesis, Trone Kenter, when neither know the other’s enmity, and Monica beholds the Dreadful Dove of Joy.

CHAPTER ONE: ABACADARIUM

The first episode opens on the Peacock, and briefly follows his adventure into the cavern beneath Curiosity House. From there, it’s just a hop skip and a jump to our world. But another presence is surveying other worlds too: the Nevernow Sea, the Moon, and locales with no human name, which are difficult to describe—all from a tower somehow isolated from time and space.
